The ULTRASUN Aluminum Flat Plate 450 LPD is a solar water heater that uses an aluminum flat plate collector to absorb sunlight and heat water, with an optional electric backup. Its 450 litres-per-day output suits large households as well as hotels, hostels, hospitals and other commercial sites. The tank uses an X-TRA thick SUS 304 inner shell with a SUS 201 outer shell, and the corrosion-resistant build is rated to work in all weather, including snow.
