About security systems

Designed to last,
built to perform.

Our comprehensive security systems provide peace of mind with advanced monitoring and protection features. We offer a range of solutions from basic alarm systems to fully integrated security networks with video surveillance, access control, and remote monitoring capabilities. Our expert team will design and install a security system tailored to your specific needs and concerns.

Home security in Nepal is different from Western markets. Load-shedding still returns seasonally, our power grid has more frequent surges, many properties have boundary walls but no gatehouse, and most households don't pay for professional monitoring services. We design security systems for these realities — not for an imaginary American suburb.

Our core security stack combines four layers: perimeter (gate motors, boundary-mounted CCTV), entry (smart locks, video door phones), interior (motion sensors, glass-break detectors), and monitoring (mobile app alerts + optional 24/7 patrol service through partner agencies in Kathmandu Valley). You don't need all four — most homes start with two layers and expand.

CCTV is the most-requested single item. We install 2 MP, 4 MP, and 8 MP (4K) IP cameras depending on where they're mounted: 2 MP for interior, 4 MP for perimeter, 8 MP for driveway ANPR (number-plate recognition). All our cameras have local NVR recording plus optional cloud backup, so even if the NVR is stolen the footage remains.

Smart locks (fingerprint + RFID + passcode) are the second most-requested item. We stock A9 fingerprint models that work offline, plus enterprise-grade electric rim locks for commercial applications. Every lock we install has manual key override — so you're never locked out because a battery died or the electronics failed.

Monitoring is where most DIY installs fail. A CCTV system with no one watching it is a documentation tool, not a security tool. We configure intelligent motion alerts (zone-based, time-of-day-aware, AI-filtered) so you get notified only when it matters — not every time a stray dog walks past the driveway.

How we work —

Step-by-step for security systems.

Every project follows the same rigorous path — from free consultation to lifetime support.

  • 01

    Threat assessment

We walk your property with you and assess real risks: entry points, blind spots, lighting gaps, neighbour dynamics. Output is a risk map you keep.

  • 02

    System design

Based on the risk map, we propose a layered system. Every camera's field of view is mapped. Every sensor's coverage documented. No guesswork.

  • 03

    Cable & mount planning

For new wiring we plan conduit routes that survive monsoon. For retrofits we hide cables along existing runs. Aesthetics matter — security shouldn't make your home ugly.

  • 04

    Installation

2–5 days for a typical residential install. Commercial sites with perimeter CCTV and access control take 1–3 weeks.

  • 05

    App & alert training

We configure mobile app access for up to 5 family members, train everyone on alert management, and set up geofencing so the system arms/disarms automatically.

  • 06

    Annual service + 24/7 backup

Annual camera cleaning and NVR health check. Optional 24/7 patrol-response service through our Kathmandu Valley partners.

FAQ —

Answers we hear weekly.

Ordered roughly by how often customers ask. If your question isn't here, call or message — we'll add it.

  1. 01

Do I need internet for my CCTV to work?

No. Our systems record locally to an NVR. Internet is only needed for remote viewing via app and optional cloud backup. When WAN goes down, recording continues uninterrupted.

  2. 02

How long does CCTV footage stay on the NVR?

Typical 2 TB NVR with 4 cameras recording 24/7 holds roughly 20–30 days. We configure motion-triggered recording (not continuous) to extend retention to 60–90 days on the same storage.

  3. 03

What if someone steals the NVR?

We mount the NVR in a hidden secure location (in-wall, inside a locked cabinet, or in the ceiling void). Optional cloud backup ensures footage survives even if physical hardware is removed.

  4. 04

Can I use my existing fingerprint lock with a new system?

Often yes. If it's a common brand (Samsung, Hikvision, Dahua, Yale, A9) we can integrate it. For off-brand locks without API access we'd recommend replacement during the upgrade.

  5. 05

How do AI-based motion alerts work?

Our premium cameras run on-device AI that distinguishes humans, vehicles, animals, and other motion. You get an alert only when a human or vehicle is detected — no false alarms from leaves or stray cats. Reduces alert noise by ~90%.

  6. 06

    Is cloud recording recommended?

Only for high-value assets. For most homes, local NVR with 60–90 day retention is sufficient. Cloud is mandatory for commercial properties where evidentiary continuity matters.

  7. 07

What about privacy? Are cameras watching me inside my house?

Your choice entirely. Most clients put cameras only at entries and exteriors. If you want interior cameras (common for nurseries or elder-care), we use privacy-mode cameras that blur humans unless motion triggers full recording.

  8. 08

    Do you do 24/7 monitoring?

Not directly, but we partner with two registered Kathmandu Valley patrol agencies. Monthly fee runs NPR 3,000–8,000 depending on response radius and verification level.
